If We do the little things consistently; because it’s what’s needed, then We will most likely accomplish the big things when they come along.
But if We consistently take shorts or don’t do the little things… then when a big thing comes up… You’ll probably just make an excuse not to do the thing just like always.
A few years ago, my wife gave me shit. "Why aren't you gonna take that cart over to the cart thingie? What's wrong with you?"
Before that, I did sometimes, and I didn't sometimes. I never really thought about it. I guess I wasn't pulling weight there, was I? Now I usually do—unless it's raining hard, and then I don't. What are they going to do? Take away my birthday?
